Recording Projects at Oktaven Audio April 14-17
Last week (April 14-17) we were at Oktaven Audio for a bunch of recording projects!
First we recorded new works by Kate Gentile as part of our icecommons-AiR program. It’s a 13-movement piece for septet, with Kate on drums, which we workshopped over Zoom over the past year.
Ensemble members involved: Jennifer Curtis (violin), Isabel Lepanto Gleicher (flute), Rebekah Heller (bassoon), Joshua Rubin (clarinet), Cory Smythe (piano).
Then we recorded works for TIME:SPANS Festival, including a new work by Bahar Royaee for ondes martenot and works by Suzanne Farrin.
