Meredith Morgan, General Manager
Meredith Morgan is excited to be joining ICE after several years with Spiegelworld, an innovative circus theatrical production company. Although she has been a New York resident for nearly 10 years, she spent considerable time in Las Vegas as Company Manager for Vegas Nocturne, a 42-member cast performing at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and for Absinthe, located in a spiegeltent on the grounds of Caesars Palace. Her spiegeltent experience continued with Empire, which took her to most of the major Canadian cities on its North American tour and gave her extensive familiarity with US and Canadian business operations and immigration procedure, as well as the care and feeding of acrobats.
Originally from Indianapolis, Meredith came to New York to attend Columbia Law School, where she discovered that theatre management was a career and changed her trajectory accordingly. During her third year, she was Assistant Company Manager of Next to Normal and, once she had graduated and passed the bar, she continued to work in company management on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, includingLysistrata Jones and the short-lived Rebecca the Musical. Meredith still loves theatre and attends as many shows as possible.
Meredith received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, where she studied too many foreign languages. While she would never call herself a performer, Meredith is trained in piano and voice, and she appreciates the chance to expand her musical knowledge while working behind the scenes with ICE.
