Part school, part camp, and part festival, the Walden School’s Young Musicians Program convenes each summer in the beautiful Monadnock region in Dublin, New Hampshire. Through rigorous and innovative daily instruction, students hone their musical and creative skills within a supportive community of like-minded peers and mentors, with a goal of improvising and composing original works.
During our residency, we’ll be realizing/reading some of the students’ compositions, performing a concert curated by Ensemble members, and working alongside faculty such as Marcos Balter. Stay tuned for details around any livestreams that will take place!
Ensemble-curated concert will include works by Yuri Lee, Brittany J. Green, inti figgis-vizueta, Wadada Leo Smith, Niloufar Shiri, Wang Lu, and Jennifer Curtis.
