A message from Portland Ovations Series:
We are committed to your health and safety as our #1 priority, and we’ve been closely monitoring communications from the Maine CDC and World Health Organization to assess our upcoming events within the context of the COVID-19 crisis.
In alignment with guidance issued by the State CDC and Govenor Janet Mills, Portland Ovations is cancelling this performance.
The International Contemporary Ensemble brings an evening of music including excerpts from Ashley Fure's "THE FORCE OF THINGS: An Opera for Objects" and Maine-born composer Suzanne Farrin's compositions for the Martenot Wave. Uniquely staged and featuring an eclectic array of custom instruments, the program explores an otherworldly ecological progression through an immersive audience experience.
