ICE Residency at University of Michigan

The International Contemporary Ensemble Artistic Directors return to University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance to collaborate with composer and multi-instrumentalist Tyshawn Sorey. Rebekah Heller and Ross Karre will present performances on- and off-campus featuring works by Pauline Oliveros, Nathan Davis, and Mario Diaz De Leon, in anticipation of the midwest premiere of the ensemble's newest collaborative work, In Plain Air, composed by Phyllis Chen and Nathan Davis. Davis, Chen, and Sorey are this year's William Bolcom Scholars.
