METAFAGOTE at Abrons Arts Center | OpenICE with Rebekah Heller and Levy Lorenzo

Bassoonist Rebekah Heller joins electronics wizard Levy Lorenzo as ICE kicks off its free OpenICE season at Abrons Arts Center.  Featuring world premieres by Carla Kihlstedt and Jason Eckardt, works by Levy Lorenzo written for instruments of his making, and the New York premiere of the epic sonic exploration "Metafagote" for 7 bassoons (one live and 6 pre-recorded) by Felipe Lara.
