TWO SHOWS: 4pm and 6pm

ICE kicks off its second season in partnership with Illinois Humanities to present this special double-header at Corbett vs. Dempsey gallery, presenting new works by two of ICE's founding members. Wendy Richman has been working closely with composers on commissioning music to use her special talents as both a violist and vocalist.  ICE founder and Artistic Director Claire Chase's ambitious Density 2036 project is commissioning hundreds of works by composers over 22 years.

Together they present works by Ken Ueno, Jason Eckardt, and Pauline Oliveros (including the Chicago premiere of her Intensity 20.15 for flute and Expanded Instrument System). Oliveros will join ICE in performance on electronics.

These shows have a limited capacity, so check back to this page soon for RSVP links.

Project Lead: Wendy Richman and Claire Chase
