ICE's official Carnegie Hall debut!
This all–Steve Reich program celebrates the 80th birthday of one of the 20th century’s most iconic composers. The performance features his and Beryl Korot’s groundbreaking video opera, Three Tales, called “a major work … whose sounds and images haunt the mind for days” (The New Yorker). The evening also includes performances of Quartet, a work scored for two pianos and two vibraphones, and the world premiere of Pulse, a work co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall and performed by ICE and conductor David Robertson.
