ICE celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Henry Street Settlement with three concerts representing the best of New York's new music.
This program features new music by some of New York's best-known composers, commissioned by ICE: George Lewis' Born Obbligato, a piece inspired by the delicate chamber music of Beethoven's Septet, a piece by legendary New York experimentalist Pauline Oliveros, and John Zorn's Baudelaires, scored for an evocative band including harpsichord and guitar.
