Four Pianos Festival at JACK | Cory Smythe and Craig Taborn

  • JACK 1/2 Waverly Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11205 United States (map)

JACK’s first-ever Four Pianos Festival offer a rare opportunity for musicians and audiences to be a part of a three-day piano overload, with several of the city’s great improvising pianists playing simultaneously on four pianos. This special performance on December 18 includes a new ICE commission for pianos tuned a quarter-tone apart, featuring jazz superstar Craig Taborn and ICE's own amazing Cory Smythe.  Clarinetist Joshua Rubin also joins the fray.

JACK is an intimate, limited-capacity space which will be filled to the brim by the four pianos and a devoted audience.  Don't miss it!

Project Lead: Cory Smythe
