Jenni Bowman, Executive Producer

Jenni Bowman joined the International Contemporary Ensemble in 2022. Previously she was a producer at the Park Avenue Armory where she led such notable productions as Rashaad Newsome’s Assembly, Robert Icke’s Hamlet and Orestia, Kaija Saariaho’s Circle Map with the New York Philharmonic and Theaster Gates’ Black Artist Retreat. She also produced multiple concerts, performances and workshops curated by Jason Moran with such artists as Roscoe Mitchell, IONE, Julia Huxtable, Rosa Barba and the late Milford Graves and Pauline Oliveros, among others. Prior to the Armory, Jenni produced 600 events annually at Discovery Green, a public park in downtown Houston, Texas. She was also the associate producer of Philip Glass’s Days and Nights Festival in Big Sur, California. She started out as freelance stage and production manager in New York City on such productions as Philip Glass and Robert Wilson’s Einstein on the Beach, Robert Whitman’s Passports at Dia Beacon, Million Dollar Quartet on Broadway and the inaugural Live Ideas Festival at New York Live Arts under the curation of Dr. Oliver Sacks. Her first job in NYC was Producer of the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island.
