ICE returns to Youth Orchestra Los Angeles for our 2016 education residency!  The EntICE education commissioning program brings a new work by master composer Tania Leon to Los Angeles, written for ICE and YOLA performing together side-by-side.  Leading to its premiere in June 2016 at the Ojai Festival, workshops spaced throughout the spring introduce the YOLA students to different aspects of the work.  The ICE teaching artists work with the wind ensemble at YOLA's HOLA location in LA's Rampart district, expanding the students' skills with a fresh approach to a brand-new piece.
