ICE bassoonist Rebekah Heller launches the digital release of her second album on TUNDRA!  Metafagote is a disc that explores and inverts the raw sound of the solo bassoon, using electronics, spatialization and powerful melodic writing.

All four pieces featured were written for Rebekah with her active collaboration, and she plays the album in its entirety at this event. Metafagote, by Felipe Lara, will be performed with seven live, spatialized bassonists, and Rand Steiger will be running live electronics for his tour-de-force Concatenation.

Looking to her third album, which will focus more on chamber music, Rebekah will also be joined by incredible ICE saxophonist Ryan Muncy for a world premiere duo by Edgar Guzmán.
