Du Yun's music exists at an artistic crossroads of chamber music, theater, pop music, opera, cabaret, storytelling, visual arts and noise. The highlight of the evening will be Angel's Bone, a world premiere commissioned by the Mann, performed by Du Yun with International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) and DJ Phil Moffa. Angel's Bone will tell the tale of captivity, bondage and eventual liberation of two heavenly angels from a family with a subversive secret. Libretto: Royce Vavrek. Director: Habib Azar
