•    The ICE dream is born on a Greyhound bus en route from Oberlin to Chicago

 

2002

•    First Chicago show, produced on a budget of holiday catering tips, nearly breaks the capacity fire code

 

2002-03 

•    16 world premieres, NY debut at Miller Theatre, inaugural ICEFest in Windy City neighborhoods

 

2003-04

•    23 world premieres, 13 concerts, launch of 21st Century Young Composers Project 

 

2004-05 

•    41 world premieres, 31 concerts, first prize from CMA/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming 

 

2005-06 

•    47 world premieres, 37 concerts, San Francisco, Boston and Mexico debuts, 2 albums recorded

 

2006-07 

•    51 world premieres, 43 concerts, Mostly Mozart Festival and Poland debuts, launch of ICE ALL OVER in NY

 

2007-08 

•    Final ICEFest, complete chamber works of Stravinsky at The Morgan Library, and 3G: a festival of Mexican new music

 

2008-09

•    U.S. premiere of Xenakis’ Oresteia at Miller Theatre, Helsinki debut, launch of media outreach and education programs

 

2009-10 

•    Headline performances at Lincoln Center, Mostly Mozart, and Darmstadt Festivals, hire of first two staff members

 

2010-11 season

•    Launch of ICElab, start of residencies at the MCA Chicago and Mostly Mozart Festival,, launch of DigitICE and The Listening Room
